Mia's Special Daiquiri
Glassware: Nick & Nora
Garnish: Powdered apple skin dust and Sweet Woodruff perfume
Method: Dust a frozen Nick & Nora glass with gold and dry apple skin. Add ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake and fine strain. Spray with sweet woodruff liqueur.
Inspiration: The combination of Cuba and Denmark showcased in a Daiquiri. Bringing together some of the very best ingredients from both countries. Obviously, Cuba is represented by the tropical notes from Ron Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 11 Years Old and the yellow habanero chilli, which are said to have originated in Cuba. In Denmark we have a lot of apples, so I wanted to use that as the freshness and acidity as well as Woodruff, foraged in a forest nearby, and green cardamom adding sweetness and spice to the drink.
Blended by the 8th generation of Rum Masters from the city of Santiago de Cuba, Ron Santiago de Cuba Añejo 8-year-old is a blend of rums aged in white
