Lucas Bols has been in business since 1575 and claims to be both the oldest Dutch company in existence, and the oldest distillery in the world. This new range of foam liqueurs has taken flavours from their existing range and adding a foaming agent and an ingenious - and trademarked - plastic pump which injects air into the liquid and creates a foam which can be layered on top of drinks. The pump is designed so that it works whether you hold the bottle horizontally or vertically. These foams may not be taken up by high-end bars but this is clearly a sound commercial concept which we feel will have definite widespread appeal.
