This brewery takes its name from Bath’s Old Bear Brewery that used to sit on the corner of the Wellsway, next to the Bear Inn in the Bear Flat area of Bath. A WWII bomb in April 1942 sadly brough about its demise. Electric in the name derives from how the brewhouse kettle is powered.
