Brewster’s Porter is a dark rich beer brewed using whole hop flowers with malted barley and wheat to a recipe devised by Master Brewster, Sara Barton.

Appearance:

Clear, dark brown-almost black with tan head which quickly fades to ring of foam.

Aroma:

Heavily roasted coffee, cacao, rum and raison, liquorice and coal tar.

Taste:

Dry, heavy malted barley, dark chocolate, caramel and a wisp of peaty smoke.

Aftertaste:

Very long, burnt toast, barbeque charcoal and coffee bean.
