Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/01/2012

Appearance

Crystal clear.

Aroma

Sweet floral, candied orange and lemon peel nose with celery-like fragrant, slightly floral notes from the angelica.

Taste

Initially arguably more a orange citrus botanical spirit that a gin at all. However, juniper eventually makes a subtle appearance, if a little outgunned by peppery spice.

Aftertaste

Orange zest and cracked black pepper finish. Close to making our ‘vergin’ classification (verging on being a real gin).
