Appearance:

Clear, dark coppery amber with huge white head with good retention and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Pungently well-toasted malt, caramel and prune fruit with faint dark chocolate.

Taste:

Full-bodied palate with noticeable alcohol bite but little obvious whisky notes, aside obvious maltyness and very faint whisp of smoke.

Aftertaste:

Toffee and prune finish with a touch of lingering bitterness.
