Adnams says the Pale Ale malt used to brew this blonde beer provides the biscuity backbone while two American hops, Columbus and Chinook, both grown in Washington State’s Yakima Valley give personality.
Sampled before 1st May 2011
Clear, light golden amber with medium quickly fading head.
Fresh zesty pink grapefruit with cracked red pepper corns black and floral (rose) aromas.
Lightly bitter citrusy palate with touch of lime cordial sweetness and good malty flavours.
Refreshingly bitter finish with lingering pine and citrus.
