3 Monts (three mountains) is named due to Saint Sylvestre brewery being located in the mist of the 3 mounts of Flanders, The Mont des Cats, The Mont Cassel and the Mont Noir. First brewed in 1984, 3 Monts is officially categorised as a Biere de Garde but many consider more a Belgium triple in style.
