Appearance:

Dark brown, almost black with thick beige head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Earthy, bready heavily roasted malt, stewed tea cake and bitter chocolate fudge.

Taste:

Roasted nuts, liquorice, coffee cake, bitter chocolate, roast figs and spirit alcohol.

Aftertaste:

Pronounced cocoa with burnt toast, caramel and liquorice.
