Like the regular Cutty Sark blend, Storm is based on grain whisky from the North British Distillery but with a higher proportion of malt whiskies, which are also considerably older. Being an Edrington owned blend these malts include a high proportion of the company’s Highland Park and The Macallan.

Launched in May 2012, Cutty Sark Storm is the second blend to be formulated by Master Blender, Kirsteen Campbell and supersedes Cutty Black and Cutty Sark Blended Malt which are no longer produced.
