Review and Tasting

Sampled on 25/06/2012

Appearance:

(bottled 15.05.12, bbd 15.09.12) Cloudy, coppery amber with a thin but retentive white head.

Aroma:

Pine forest fresh and grapefruit zesty hops with a faint whiff of dungy farmyard (in an appealing way).

Taste:

Citrusy tart bitterness but sweeter and easier than some of The Kernel’s other IPAs – that said don’t expect a push over, this pale ale pacts a serious pine-resinous hop punch with tropical fruit and orange squash.

Aftertaste:

Tart ruby red grapefruit zest and orange squash.
