This Colorado gin is flavoured with juniper berries, coriander, angelica, oris root, liquorice, lemon peel, lime peel and cassia bark and "a few other things we found lying around the place". Judging by Tub Gin’s website and marketing materials we presume it is aimed at America’s gun lobby.

To quote tubgin.com, "There's only one thing we like better than gin. That's shootin' stuff. And there's only one thing we like better than shooting stuff. That's drinking gin and shootin' stuff at the same time. And that's were our story begins and ends.” You’ll be relieved to hear that they have apparently learnt to drink and shoot responsibly.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Zesty orange marmalade, lemon meringue pie filling, pine and camphor with musky sage, eucalyptus and Dentine chewing gum-like aromas.

Taste:

Citrus forward style but with supporting piney juniper and well-judged cleansing prickly spice.

Aftertaste:

Clean zesty finish with faint lingering notes of piney junper and peppery spice.
