The Tomintoul Distillery was built in the 1960s and is situated in one of the highest villages in the Scottish Highlands. Aged in American oak ex-bourbon casks, this 10 year old Speyside malt was first released in 2002 by the then new distillery owners, Angus Dundee Plc.

Appearance:

Clear, mid golden yellow with bright gold highlights.

Aroma:

Creamy buttery fudge and heather with thick vanilla custard, cashew nuts and faint sage spice.

Taste:

Stewed vegetal and buttery fudge with mixed nuts and light smokiness and creamy vanilla custard.

Aftertaste:

Vegetal, nutty finish smoothed by thick custard.
