Part of Hawkshead’s ‘huge hop’ range, this pale ale is brewed using four New Zealand hops: Green Bullet, Riwaka, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin. It was created by Hawkshead’s Head Brewer, Matt, who also happens to be a Kiwi himself.

Review and Tasting


Sampled on 11/11/2012

Appearance:

Slight haze, pale amber with thin but long lasting white head leaving light lacing.

Aroma:

Orange and red grapefruit zest, light pine and straw.

Taste:

Pronounced orange zest and tart apricot fruit with grassy and citrusy hops.

Aftertaste:

Lightly bitter, lingering pine and orange zest hops.
