This 100% agave tequila was launched in January 2012 by partners George Clooney (the actor), Rande Gerber (bar and restaurant owner) and Mike Meldman (Discovery Land Company CEO). Casamigos is named after Clooney’s and Gerber’s houses in Mexico (roughly translates as “house of friends”).
Casamigos Blanco Tequila is rested for two months prior to bottling.

Appearance:

Aroma:
Roasted agave, vanilla ice-cream and cracked black pepper. Faint peach skin and ashtray.
Taste:
Faintly sweet with cracked black pepper spice, cream-of-soda, vanilla ice-cream, coal dust and light herbaceousness.
Aftertaste:
Herbaceous vanilla ice-cream and cracked black pepper.
Overall:
Black pepper spice herbs with underlying sweet cream-of-soda and vanilla ice-cream dried made more complex with coal dust and light herbaceousness.
