Single distilled in 1966 from 100% Baco 22A at Chateau de Gaube in Perquie, Landes. Aged 46 years, finished and bottled in September 2012 by Francis Darroze. Bottled without chill-filtration or additives such as boise and sugar.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Fragrant yet integrated with earthy prunes, rancio , black treacle, mushrooms and flint.

Taste:

Strongly rancio with plums and prunes.

Aftertaste:

Long and lightly spicy.
