Launched in 2013, Spirit Works Gin is made by husband and wife distillers, Timo and Ashby Marshall at their Californian distillery where they distil the base spirit from locally grown red winter wheat. They redistill this with seven botanicals including hand-cut fresh orange and lemon zests.

The seven botanicals used in Spirit Works Gin are: juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, cardamom, hibiscus, orange and lemon zest. The botanicals are all placed in the copper pot still at the same time with the berries, roots and seeds steeped in the spirit, while the hand peeled citrus is hung in a bag high in the stills helmet.

The spirit is hydrated and chill filtered prior to bottling.
