Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/11/2013

Appearance

(bottle No.6) Clear, bright mid-golden amber.

Aroma

Burnt toast, oak, dried fruit, zesty lemon citrus with pencil savings, barky wood, shortbread and fresh mango. Water amplifies leathery oak.

Taste

Sweet vanilla and cinnamon spiced oak with sweet red apple and beeswax. Water tames and opens spectacularly with sweet ripe orchard fruit and dried mango perfectly balanced by dry spicy oak.

Aftertaste

Dried fruit, vanilla and spiced oak.
