Blended from stocks held in the family’s Paradise cellar, this Grande Champagne is blended from eaux-de-vie aged 23-30 years, with some distilled earlier in 1969 by Gérard Drouet using a wood and coal direct fired still.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber with burnished copper tints.

Aroma:

Stewed plums, cherry, cinnamon, liquorice and fruit cake with vanilla fudge and icing sugar.

Taste:

Silky and wonderfully fruity (led by dried apricot and plum) with buttery fudge, toffee apple, cinnamon spice and tobacco leaf. Light oaky garnish.

Aftertaste:

Vanilla fudge, stewed plums, cigar leaf, nutmeg and cinnamon spice.
