Introduced in October 2013, Manzana Loca (‘crazy apple’ in Spanish) is a blend of cider with tequila and lime flavouring. Manzana Loca is made in Herefordshire, England and the brand owners (Hi-Spirits) recommend serving in the bottle, chilled with a wedge of lime in the neck.

Appearance:
(sample best before end Sep/14) Clear, pale golden amber with short lived thin white head.
Aroma:
Apple and custard tart, with faint lime and floral notes.
Taste:
Medium dry. Lime and tequila flavouring is very evident but inoffensive. Underlying cider flavour is somewhat lacking but acidity balances mild sweetness.
Aftertaste:
Dried apple and lime cordial.
