Clear, mid golden amber.
Dried fruit, slightly burnt fruitcake, boiled sweets (hard candy), baked apple, nubuck leather and crème anglaise with some candle wax.
Slight sweetness and creamy vanilla balanced by dry oak, citrus zest and charred malt. Chargrilled pineapple, ginger, clove and cinnamon spice. Water softens but changes little.
Liquorice features heavily on the long almond and coal dust. Overall: A big spicy malt with dry burnt notes.
