Review and Tasting

Sampled on 12/11/2014

Appearance

Clear & bright, light-mid golden amber.

Aroma

Faint sulphur - match box lighting strip, linseed oil rubbed new leather, baked apple and clove.

Taste

Slightly sweet, toasted/burnt malt, clove and black pepper with notes of sulphur and coal dust. Takes water well revealing vanilla.

Aftertaste

Slight sulphur on the long coal dust, clove and pepper spiced finish. Overall: A big spicy malt for seasoned palates.
