Developed in the summer of 2013, Loopuyt is a blend of 12 individually distilled botanical distillates: junper berries, lavender, orange and grapefruit peel, cinchona, nutmeg, fresh raspberries, cardamom, Incan berries, mulberries and goji berries and coriander.
Its makers describe Loopuyt as being a “New Western” styled gin.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Orange and grapefruit zest with lavender. Spicy cardamom and coriander.
Taste:
Zesty orange and grapefruit continue to dominate with potent cardamom, nutmeg, coriander and black pepper spice.
Aftertaste:
Floral lavender emerges in the zesty orange finish.
Overall:
Juniper is comparatively subdued in this “New Western” styled gin which is led by zesty orange and grapefruit with potent cardamom, coriander and black pepper spice.
