Review and Tasting

Sampled on 27/12/2015

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden amber.

Aroma:

Honeyed and spiced cereal with white pepper, toasty oak and blackberry fruit.

Taste:

Dry spiced oak, caramel and vanilla fudge with assertive black pepper spice. Faint apricot and mocha coffee.

Aftertaste:

Oak tannins, blackened fruit cake and lingering spicy oak.

Overall:

As the Oak Devil suggests, dry, young oak dominates with assertive black pepper spice.
