Review and Tasting

Sampled on 19/04/2016

Appearance:

(30/Jan/17) clear, deep golden Amber with a thick retentive ivory white head and spotted lacing.

Aroma:

Straw, toasty malt and grassy hops with faint pair fruitiness.

Taste:

Lightly bitter with with light caramel sweetness - well balanced. Good toasted malt character.

Aftertaste:

Lightly bitter finish with dried grass, faintly metallic hops.

Overall:

One of the better big name Spanish beers with a strength that packs a punch. Well-balanced lightly toasted malt character. The dried grassy finish with its faint metallic notes leaves you wanting another sip.
