Pimm’s Cider Cup with strawberry and cucumber was first launched in June 2015.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 06/Aug/16) Clear, rust/brick red with a short-lived white head.

Aroma:

Sweet vermouth, strawberry candy, zesty orange and cream-of-soda vanilla.

Taste:

Rich strawberry jam, herbal dry wine, cucumber and zesty orange with moderate carbonation.

Aftertaste:

Strawberry continues with lingering sweet vermouth-like herbal wine notes.

Overall:

Perhaps more Pimm’s cup with strawberry jam than “cider”, and a tad on the sweet side.
