First brewed in 2010, this blond ale is re-fermented in the bottle. Saison Dry Hopping is produced annually in limited quantities with different hops used for “dry hopping” each year.

This 2016 edition uses three hop varieties with German grown Brewers Gold used for the dry hopping.

Appearance:

(sample bottle BBE Jul/19) Hazy, sandy yellow with retentive thick off-white head and spotted lacing.

Aroma:

Grassy, hay, peppery yeast, coriander and light citrus.

Taste:

Piney, grassy hops, herbal sourness, coriander, black pepper yeast, clove, zesty grapefruit and vanilla.

Aftertaste:

Herbal sourness, peppery spice, clove and grapefruit zest.

Overall:

Grassy, herbal, sour coriander and peppery spice with clove and grapefruit zest.
