Review and Tasting

Sampled on 02/04/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 15/Oct/17) Clear, mid-deep golden amber with thin but retentive off-white head.

Aroma:

Caramel maltiness and grassy hops.

Taste:

Medium-bodied. Caramel maltiness is enlivened with grassy and piney hop freshness.

Aftertaste:

Caramel malts and lingering pine freshness.

Overall:

Despite its high 7% alc./vol. strength, this IPA is easy drinking with sweet malty notes balancing relatively mild grassy and piney hop freshness.
