Review and Tasting

Sampled on 18/04/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle batch 7, BBE Dec/17) Hazy, deep amber with thin but retentive off white head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Dried apricot and bready malt with grassy and piney hops.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied. Moderately assertive piney hop bitterness, tropical fruit and apricot with light hay and grassiness.

Aftertaste:

Bready and fruity.

Overall:

Brewed in England to a Belgium style, this pale ale has attractive topical fruitiness and brown ready maltiness.
