Appearance:

(sample bottle BBE 30/Jan/17) Clear, deep mahogany brown with retentive thick beige head.

Aroma:

Burnt/toasted barley, brown sugar, vanilla, pine resins, chocolate and chicory.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied. Burnt toast, bitter charcoal, cocoa and vanilla with heavily roasted coffee and nuts.

Aftertaste:

Bitter burnt toast, charcoal and vanilla.

Overall:

Brewed with five different types of malt, this Greek porter has a distinctive burnt toast character with attractive cocoa, vanilla and heavily roasted coffee notes.
