Review and Tasting

Sampled on 15/08/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 05/Oct/17) Clear, transparent with fast rising bubbles.

Aroma:

Quinine and pavement after rain minerality. Very clean.

Taste:

Well-balanced. Tart quinine and citric acidity with faint balancing sweetness and faint lemon notes. The sweeteners used to have any unpleasant flavours – natural tasting.

Aftertaste:

Dry, clean, lingering quinine without the unpleasant bitterness associated with some ‘light tonics’ with sweeteners.

Overall:

Sweeteners reduce rather than replace the sugar in this ‘natural’ tasting well-balanced light tonic water.
