Appearance:

(sample bottle BBE 02/May/17) Hazy, deep amber with a retentive beige head and good lacing.

Aroma:

Pungent smoky bacon, chorizo meat and piney hops.

Taste:

Medium-bodied and slightly oily. Smoky bacon, smouldering wood, sweet malts and peppery alcohol.

Aftertaste:

Reminiscent of Frazzles, smoky bacon and charcoal.

Overall:

A big amber ale with pronounced smoky bacon aromas and flavours. Slightly sweet.
