Apparently, this “Cranberry Tonic with Ginger” soda water “created in collaboration with Maison Hennessy Cognac to be the soul mate for all dark spirits.” Ingredients: Carbonated water, fructose, citric acid, natural flavourings and quinine.

Appearance:

(sample bottle batch 00.2 BBE Sep/18) Crystal clear with lazy bubbles.

Aroma:

Tooty Fruity “berry” flavoured vodka like aroma with underlying quinine minerality.

Taste:

Slightly sweet with candied black berry and lingonberry candied fruit with slightly bitter quinine and faint candied ginger.

Aftertaste:

Tooty Fruity-like berry finish with light quinine bitterness.

Overall:

Slightly sweet. Perhaps more reminiscent of Tooty Fruity candied black berry and lingonberry than cranberry.
