This "cold brewed" light tonic water is made with carbonated water, cane sugar, natural botanical extracts, citric acid, natural flavourings including quinine, sea salt, antioxidant and ascorbic acid.

Appearance:

Clear, very faint yellow tinge, rising bubbles from carbonation.

Aroma:

Subdued. Zesty lemon, quinine and very faint smoky bacon crisps.

Taste:

Dry, mildly bitter quinine with faint citrus notes.

Aftertaste:

Lightly bitter quinine.

Overall:

With a mere 14 kcal per 100ml, this tonic is certainly light. Its flavour is also restrained being pure quinine without the strong lemon notes or sweeteners that plague some other light tonics.
