Review and Tasting

Sampled on 19/11/2018

Appearance:

Clear, light to mid-golden amber with retentive off-white head and spotted lacing.

Aroma:

Crusty white baguette with yeasty banana chews and floral aromas.

Taste:

Light-bodied with moderate carbonation. Wheat, light white pepper and subtle banana chew fruitiness.

Aftertaste:

More wheat, banana chews and light white pepper spice.

Overall:

This wheaty wheat beer from Italy is distinctive not only for being an Italian weiss, but for its light white pepper and subtle banana chew notes (in an attractive rather than Isoamyl Acetate way).
