Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/09/2019

Appearance:

Clear but almost opaque, deep blood reddy-brown.

Aroma:

Ripe strawberries, blueberries and raspberries with balsamic vinegar and oak.

Taste:

Acidic balsamic vinegar balances rich berry fruitiness with smoothing cream-of-soda vanilla.

Aftertaste:

Berry fruit with enlivening vinegar acidity.

Overall:

This berry liqueur is very rich but this sweetness is balanced and toned by well-judged balsamic vinegar.
