Appearance:
Clear, pale rust with a persistent mouse.
Aroma:
Fresh raspberries and tinned raspberries with apple and buttery biscuit pie base. Faint floral grassy scents.
Taste:
Red apple and dried raspberry balanced by lemon citrus acidity and cut grass. Good effervescence.
Aftertaste:
Medium to long dry finish with raspberry and cut grass.
Overall:
Very limited in its availability (just 500 bots), Oxney's 2016 rose is beautifully balanced with appealing rich raspberry and apple fruitiness with lemony acidity.
