Made by infusing London to Lima Gin with mulberries that are hand-picked in Peru close to the distillery; Amazonian Coca leaves, sourced from the same supplier as the world's largest cola brand; and wild honey.

London to Lima products each feature a different Peruvian animal. The Mulberry & Coca label features a Spectacled Caiman, whilst the original gin depicts a Spectacled Bear.

Based on the design of a hip flask the bottle was first carved from wood by Peruvian craftsmen and this was used as the form to create the glass mould. Each bottle is hand-made using this mould from recycled glass.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 19/08/2020

Appearance:

Hazy, maroon red.

Aroma:

Pungent mulberry with piney juniper and subtle chocolate and menthol.

Taste:

Spice and berry tannins perfectly balance rich sweetness with enlivening spice and assertive piney gin.

Aftertaste:

Long mulberry fruit and piney gin finish with lingering spice and menthol.

Overall:

The cute 20cl bottle is hipflask-like and indeed this Mulberry & Coca Gin liqueur is a perfect winter warmer.
