Review and Tasting

Sampled on 19/03/2020

Appearance:

Hazy ("cloudy" even!), golden amber with a white head.

Aroma:

Crusty white bread with zesty grapefruit and faint pork scratching.

Taste:

Medium-bodied and a site maltier than your average lager, with hay, yeast and cleansing zesty orange and pink grapefruit.

Aftertaste:

Slightly meaty, hay and malt, moderately bitter finish.

Overall:

The cloudy appearance, bready malt and pronounced hops character could fool you into thinking this was an ale rather than a lager.
