Montanya Platino is made from American sugar cane juice fermented with champagne yeast. It is distilled using a copper pot still and aged in once-used American oak Stranahan's whiskey barrels which have also aged Montanya Oro one time.
The colour resulting from this oak aging is removed by filtration through coconut-husk charcoal before by hydrated to bottling strength with San Juan mountain spring water.

Crystal clear.
A subdued nose with coconut flesh, almonds, espresso coffee and vanilla aromas.
Dry, toffee, crème brûlée with cracked black pepper spice.
Slight hints of star anise to a peppery roasted nut.
