A rum brand founded in the early 1920s by Martin Doorly and acquired in 1992/3 by RL Seale, this is one of the oldest brands in Barbados. This 5yo old with the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao) as a mascot, is a blend of pot and column still rums blended before & after ageing in re-fill bourbon casks.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Apricot, orange zest, leather and toffee-apple.

Taste:

Faint sweetness balances orange zesty bitterness on a tropical fruit/passion fruit palate with toffee-apple, caramel and a hint of coconut.

Aftertaste:

Dry, metallic leather with passion fruit, orange zest and lingering coconut and white pepper.
