As the name suggests, this is the Signature single malt whisky from Australia's Morris Distillery, part of the Morris Rutherglen winery. The link between this winery and the distillery is most evident in the use of wine seasoned barrels.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Biscuity orchard fruit with fruit cake, black cherry and nutmeg.

Taste:

Chewy biscuity oak, blackberry fruit, orange marmalade, cocoa and peppery cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Blackberry and cocoa and peppery cinnamon spice.

Overall:

Youthful and exuberant with chewy oak balanced and given character by vinous berry fruit notes from wine influenced maturation. Quaffable and satisfying.
