Pedro's Ògógóró is distilled in small batches from fermented organic palm sap.
Pedro's team work with communities in trusted teams in villages surrounded by palm trees in Delta and Ogun state, southern Nigeria.
Women in these villages collect the palm sap and store it in drums where the liquid ferments over several days. They then turn the same drums into crude stills and distil the fermented palm wine over open fires. Pedro's team collect the distillate from these villages and bring it back to Lagos where they redistil it to produce a refined ògógóró.

Earthy toffee, fudge, grass and smouldering bonfire embers.
Toffee, fudge, coconut and black pepper spice with vanilla and citrus. There's also a metallic, almost fizzy note that's strangely alluring.
Black pepper spiced toffee fudge with a lingering metallic note.
Pedro's Ògógóró is one of the more exciting spirits we've encountered in a long while. Spiritous grassy fudge with a distinctive metallic note (in a good way) and a flavoursome rawness.
