Calvados Boulard VSOP is a Calvados from Pays d’Auge produced by traditional methods and aged a minimum of four years. The house of Boulard was founded in 1825 by Pierre-August Boulard, and is still owned by his fifth generation descendant Vincent.
120 different varieties of apple are used in Boulard’s production: their own orchards contribute 20% of the total, while a network of 500 local growers supply the remainder. The cider is double distilled in copper pot stills before ageing in seasoned oak casks.

Clear, golden amber.
Rich apple cider and delicately spiced oak with raisins, hazelnuts and slight brioche.
Intensely flavoured with old cider, stewed apple, dry oak and vanilla with almost minty freshness, cinnamon and peppery spice.
Stewed apple, vanilla and dry oak with lingering light spice.
Lighter, easier and more fruity than longer aged calvados, this is eminently suited to cocktail use as well as for serving neat over ice.
