Review and Tasting

Sampled on 24/09/2011

Appearance:

(batch: 10 11342) Clear, pale golden.

Aroma:

Wonderfully aromatic with buttery bread pudding, delicate exotic spice, apple chutney and floral aromas.

Taste:

Initial bust of toasty oak leads to a delicately spicy, stewed apple palate with delicate bitter oak tannins.

Aftertaste:

Medium, spicy apple pie with burnt Christmas cake flavours. More spiced than a comparable calvados.
