This quaint distillery sits on the River Lossie, close to Elgin in Speyside. Established in 1825, Peter Brown and his son famously built the reputation of Linkwood over 70 years. They were followed by manager Roberick Mackenzie who vehemently resisted any changes being made to what his two predecessors had established.

Rarely seen as a single malt distillery bottling, demand for Linkwood has always outstripped supply, despite a new still house being added to run alongside the original in 1971.
