The family-owned Yealands Estate is located in the southern Awatere Valley sub-region of Marlborough. Peter Yealands' established the family’s terraced vineyards in the late 1990s.
Yealands Seaview Vineyard is majority planted with Sauvignon Blanc vines, but was one of the first to plant varietals such as Gruner Veltliner and Viognier in Marlborough.
