A Herefordshire potato farmer of 20 years, Will Chase decided he’d had enough of the drudgery of selling a commodity to supermarkets and in 2002 hit upon the idea of turning his potatoes into Tyrrells Hand Cooked Potato Chips. Having successfully made his crisps a household name he then set about turning his crop into what has become an award-winning potato vodka and gin.

The Chase family welcome visitors to their single-estate distillery which is in Herefordshire, just four miles out of Hereford.
They offer visitors a distillery tour looking at their traditional mashing, fermenting, distilling processes, and how they finish each bottle by hand. Outside you can see their rolling potato fields and cider apple orchards. Tours conclude at the Chase Bar with a tutored tasting of their range of products and an opportunity to pick up a bottle at the Distillery Shop.
Tours are held on the following days:
Tuesday - Friday 12pm & 3pm
Saturday - 11am, 1pm & 3pm
Tour tickets: £25 per person (£10 of each ticket is redeemable when spending over £20 in the distillery shop).
Tour duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
