Sidecar by Merlet cocktail competition

The Sidecar by Merlet cocktail competition is back for a fourth year.

Win an all expenses paid trip to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans!

Merlet is inviting the best talent in the UK bartending community to be creative with the legendary Sidecar cocktail.

To be considered for the UK final entrants must submit:

- An original variation of the classic Sidecar, using Merlet Brothers Blend Cognac and Merlet Trois Citrus (triple sec)

- Another original cocktail, entirely of the bartenders choosing. One Merlet liqueur must be used.

- A story of your relationship with the Sidecar classic cocktail.

Six competitors will be selected to present at the UK Final, to be held on 29 June in London.

The winner will go on to the European Final in Cognac in January 2016 with the opportunity to win a trip to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.
