About the awards
Bartenders' Choice Awards was established in 2010 by Purfict consultancy run by four Swedish bartenders, thus created by bartenders for bartenders, and has grown to be one of the most prestigious awards in the Nordic bar and restaurant industry.
Jakob Sundin, co-founder of Bartenders' Choice Awards said, "An absolutely fantastic evening with a record-breaking crowd and international industry stars everywhere. We couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate 10 years as an industry award. A big congratulations to all the nominees, the winners and the whole Nordic bar scene!"
Co-founders of the awards, Joel Katzenstein, Michael Bergström, Jakob Sundin & Andreas Näslund
Winners, sponsors, supporters and jury members came together at the awards party to recognise and celebrate their peers in the industry.
Once again, the distinctive statues decorated with gold and silver, handcrafted by Swedish jewellery designer Yasar Aydin, were presented to each of the forty-nine winners.
Over 360 professionals from the Nordic hospitality industry formed the judging panel for this year's awards. And following careful deliberation, each judge voted for their favourites in all categories. Congratulations to all nominees and winners of the night. We're delighted to have been recognised as Best Publication for a second year running.
